Audition has turned all of my audio into a 2 second loop

Hi all,
Suddenly the vast majority of my hour and a half long interview has been turned into a 2 second loop. Bizarrly the waveform still looks like the original and the loop appears to be totally random, it's not a section I was working on so I don't see how I could have accidentally looped it. The toggle is scrolling like normal but all I'm hearing is the loop.
I've tried reimporting the audio, restarting the program, etc. to no avail.
I'm new user so this could be pilot error but I see this is an issue that has come up in the past with no solutions posed.
I'm working on the latest version of Audition on a macOS Catalina 10.15.6.
Thanks

I hit Ctrl + L a few times, no change unfortunately. How do you navagate to it in the menu, I can double check that way, but the shortcut isn't working anyways.

Hey Varian05,

I was looking for answers to the exact same problem and I didn't found anything here. Then I noticed that I didn't had the problem with an MP3 file, being my file an MPEG, so I just changed the extention of my file to MP3 and the loop stopped. I hope this helps you, even a month after your post.
