Audition Not Starting After update

New Here ,
Nov 24, 2017 Nov 24, 2017

I recently updated to audition 2018. When I use the icon to start it says configuration error please uninstall and reinstall. When I start it from the Adobe menu in the desktop app it works fine. I am running High Sierra on a mid 2015 macbook pro with a core i7 and 16 gigs of ram. HD is pure ssd.

Does the Audition icon point to the same path as the Desktop app? You could try starting it with the Shift key held down since this resets all Audition's configuration to the default.

You probably just need to get rid of that desk icon, and create a new one - or edit the path in it to be the same as the path in the desktop app.
