Are you trying to save directly to Dropbox? If you are, don't even think about succeeding, because you most likely won't. If you want to put a file in to Dropbox, then save it locally on your machine first and transfer a copy of the saved file. The saving mechanism for file transfers is quite different. Audition (and indeed most other software) expects there to be no delays in the save path, and if there are - because you are trying to save a file down that piece of wet string called the Internet - then it simply gives up.
