Audition stops recording during zoom meeting (Mac OS)

I'm using zoom.us for my online lectures this semester (I'm a history prof), and I'm using a Zoom H6 as an audio interface and recording my audio locally with Audition to get higher quality sound. After working fine for a couple of weeks, Audition now stops recording in the middle of my lectures, and I can't figure out what's causing it. I've noticed that sometimes sharing my screen can make it stop, but sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I check to confirm it's recording and then notice it has stopped without me touching the mouse/keyboard/anything. Does anyone know what's causing this? Any help would be much appreciated- thanks!

Some additional information:

-I'm using a 2020 Macbook Pro w/ 32 gigs of RAM and a 2.0 gHz Quad-core Intel Core i5 processor running MacOS v10.15.6

-I have ~135 gigs of free storage

-I use three monitors: the built-in 13", a 34" ultrawide LG and a 24" HP

-I am running the following apps: zoom.us v5.2.2, Powerpoint v16.41, and Audition v13.0.09 (though I just updated to 13.0.10)

-I'm running the Zoom H6 as a stereo mix audio interface using computer power and recording in Audition in wavform mode

-I'm using a Shure SM7b mic w/ a cloudlifter

Don't have a Mac, so I can't really be specific - but there's a chance that if you look at the latest log file in Preferences, it might give you a clue at the end of it. I'd guess that it has something to do with the way that the audio is aggregated, and that for some reason the feed to Audition is being disrupted - that would be enough to stop it. But beyond that, I'm afraid I haven't a clue.

It could be that another app is hijacking the audio but either way once you get it sorted I would suggest that you record in Multitrack rather than Wavform

Hi, yes, I'm having this same issue. I use Audition to record a podcast that we usually run via Zoom. Every time I go to "share audio" on Zoom, so that i can play a clip from my computer or whatever, Audition stops recording. Wondering what i need to change as far as my preferences in either Zoom or Audition to make this stop happening. Working on a 2020 MacbookPro with Ventura. My cohost, who also has a Macbook Pro doesn't have this issue for whatever reason.
