Does anyone actually use the feature within Audtion 2020 which auto creates a series of mp3 tracks from a wav recording which has previously been divided by cue markers? And, if so, have you had problems?
I've been using that feature for many years, both on earlier versions and on Audition 2019, but the new version, from the updating late last year, has given erratic results. Copying the series of outputted tracks to memory stick always used to play on USB player in correct sequence from the start. But now play can sometimes start in the middle of the programme and sometimes transpose the order of play of some tracks.
If you've experienced a similar problem, have you found any fix?

The old CS 6 version was reliable and gave no problems in this respect. Is CS6 still obtainable? If so, will CS6 work with Windows 10? Information will be appreciated. Alan Wilding

It sounds like an issue with your player rather than the way mp3 files are created. Are they all named sequentially?

How is your USB player deciding which order to play audio files?

Thanks for your interest, Mike. According to the supplier the Sonic player is meant to play in order of origination and that accords with Audition's auto-creation which starts at the beginning and makes the tracks  sequentially. And, indeed it has worked OK over many years but not reliably since Audition got upgraded last November. So we think it is something within the new software that is now causing this problem. Do you use this feature of Audition?
