Hello,

I use the auto match loudness and ducking features found in Adobe Audition.  The default is set for -23 LUFS and it seems like that is too low.  Is there a way to change the auto-match loudness settings so that I can increase it to -16?  Am I wrong that -23 is too low...any guidance is appreciated.

Too low for what, exactly? It's the standard for HDTV, at least. It all depends on your programme material. In Match Loudness you can change the value easily if you use the ITU-R BS.1770-3 setting as a basis. But whether that's the right thing to do depends very much on the material you've got and the intended target audience.
