A 2-part question:
I recently got a new laptop and when transferring things, I found an AA CC 2017 folder. It got me wondering if I can delete old AA veersion folders. I am using the latest version CC24.
Also:
I am using the current version (Build 24.2.0.83) and when opening it, it's still looking for things from 2023 version. Can I safely delete the 23 folder as well?
When opening the latest version, it's still seeking info from the previous version still on this computer and the old laptop. I get this message:
Auditions primary temp folder cannot be found
C:\ users\ michael\ appdata\ local\ temp\ adobe\ audition\ 23.0
Please review auditions disk cache preferences
Where and how do I change this?
Thanks for any insight someone can provide!

But in your case, it doesn't see

The reason that Audition looks for older installations is that ideally, it will look for presets, templates, etc and use these on the new release, saving you from having to recreate it all from scratch. But in your case, it doesn't seem to apply. I think that's also why a lot of these settings are in Public - they can be accessed there without having to ask for permissions to access them when updates are happening.
