Can open WAV file by choosing “Open Using”, but files imported into Audition show up with flat timeline and won’t play

I created some wav files using Zoom H6. When I use File Explorer with ”Open Using” the file will play and I can exit it. But if I open Audition CC and import the file, it shows up as a flat line in Timeline and won't play.

When you open them in Audition what info does the Properties window show for the file? What happens when you press the Play button does the cursor move even if you can't here anything?

The Properties info that ryclark asked for are important to help diagnose the issue.

Can you post a screenshot for this .wav file as above?
