Confidential informant voice change that can't be altered back to normal?

Hi,

I'm working on a documentary where I need to change one voice so it can't be recognizable BUT also so that no one can put the voice back into an audio program to tweak it back to normal. If that makes sense.

I'm currently using "Pitch Shifter" in Audition (also found other posts about it) but wondering if that's enough? Thoughts?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, if it can be done, and still recognisable as a voice, it can almost certainly be undone to a point where the originator might become recognisable as him or herself. Almost certainly the best solution is to use another person to respeak the lines. Generally this doesn't matter, as the person concerned isn't going to be visible anyway!

Perfect, thanks! That was my second choice.
