Hello, I have just purchased a new MAC Book Air M2, and successfully installed Audition CC. However, I can't manage to import my shortcuts or settings from the old MAC, in spite of  copying the folders in /Users/(my username)/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you!

According to the information I have, the correct path to the files you need to swap is

/Users/{username}/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/{version no} - the only difference between this and yours being that you need to put the version number at the end, otherwise you are likely to end up with the wrong set of preferences. And generally it's not a case of copying the files/folders; you need to delete the existing set and replace them with your old ones. Since it's a new installation, it doesn't

Since it's a new installation, it doesn't really matter about saving the existing set, as these would be dead easy to replace anyway - just start Audition with the Shift key held down.

Hello Steve, thank you for your prompt reply! Would the version number be of the old or the new one?

Thanks,

Ramesh

It's the version number of the old Audition installation that you want to copy the settings from. Currently with PCs it's 22 - I'm not sure about Mac version numbers though - they may not entirely be in step. If you look at the folders listed the level above, it's almost certainly the highest numbered one.

Steve! You're a star...it worked like a dream! FYI, the latest version on my old Mac Book Pro was 22, but the folders were empty. The most updated one, which reflected any changes was 14. All good so far.

Thank you so much for your help!
