Copyright requirements

New Here ,
Aug 16, 2016 Aug 16, 2016

I may use royalty free sound effects/music bed available from adobe auditions sound library for use in a short film. I need to know whether I need to credit adobe in the ending credits (and if so, precisely what should be written or included). I also need to know when submitting to the copyright office whether I need to reference the existing copyright in previously copyright info (if and so, what claimant number to use.)

Thank you.

Better suited for Audition CS5.5, CS6 & CC (this is the SDK forum)

I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice, but to my knowledge no attribution is necessary for any of the stuff that comes from Audition's royalty-free content.

Before you download the content from here (http://offers.adobe.com/en/na/audition/offers/audition_dlc.html), you're presented with the following information:

Your download and use of the content on this page is governed by and subject to the Adobe Software License Agreement ("EULA") for Adobe Audition and other related Adobe software, available at: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/

Subject to the restrictions stated in the EULA, you may use, display, modify, reproduce, and distribute the associated Content File. However, you may not distribute the Content File on a standalone basis (i.e., in circumstances in which the Content File constitute the primary value of the product being distributed), and Customer may not claim any trademark rights in the Content File or derivative works thereof.
