I use a lot of custom crossfades between audio clips in Premiere. Often I align the crossfade to Start at Cut, End at Cut, or Custom Start. I use these alignments more than Center at Cut.
I just tried migrating a Premiere sequence to Audition for the first time and I noticed that a lot of my dialogue edits sounded bad, definitely different than in Premiere. Then I realized that none of my custom crossfades migrated correctly. The Start at Cut and End at Cut crossfades were all turned into Fade In's and Fade Out's.
Is this normal? If I want to mix my Premiere sequences in Audition, do I need to stop using these audio transitions?
I can't use only Center at Cut crossfades because their duration has to be at least 2 frames, and for dialogue editing I need to be able to do 1-frame crossfades (hence the Start at Cut and End at Cut positions).
Have something to add?
