Ctrl+Z doesn't redo the dial changes?  It just undoes what filter effect you've added and other big things.  If you want to just see how something sounds how do you Ctrl+Z the dials w/o messing w/ the other stuff?

Ctrl+Z undoes the last operation - nothing to do with resetting dials. If you want to hear how an effect sounds, and toggle it on and off, that's what the Power State button does. By default it's on, but if you click it off the effect is temporarily disabled and looks like this:

I didn't mean that, but when you adjust these things individually, say you change the 100ms to like 1000ms and let go, if you press Ctrl+Z there is a high-chance the whole effect disappears but that isn't an issue because you knew that is all you changed.  The issue is when you are in EQ mode, change like 3 dials to the 0.x trying to find the right settings, want to press Ctrl+Z 3 times to undo them because you changed like 50 things in that EQ that are All gone when you didn't periodically "save".
