I'm editing a linked MP4 file in premiere and used the 'Edit in Audition' function to edit the audio track. It was all working fine as I would edit the audio, Ctrl+S to save and then close the file, return to premiere and the changes were made.
However, later on, I am doing the exact same thing but when i try and save my changes in Audition, the following message comes up and I can't save the changes. The files are only open in Premiere and Audition, but this was the case earlier when it was working.
Do you know why this is happening and how I can get round this issue, as I now can't save any audio edits.
(I have tried unlinking audio track from video, tried cutting it into different clips within premiere etc. but nothing seems to make a difference)
