Edits in waveform not applying to Multitrack...except solo

New Here ,

So I'm doing some mixing and was able to eliminate some noise in a clip in the waveform editor. When I play it back in Multitrack though, it's like the edits never happened UNLESS I solo the track. If I solo the track, it's sounds fine. But once I play everything together, the edits are gone again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure that can't happen

Are you sure that the noise is not also in some other clip?

Positive. I soloed the track that I had edited. It sounded fine. I then un-soloed the track and the edits were gone. I am positive that there are no other clips here. Could this be a hiccup when I imported the OMF?

Unlikely

However, if you like I'm happy to check the session if you want to send me the sesx and media to info@aatranslator.com.au

What happens when you mute that track rather than solo it?
