I am trying to figure out how to fade in on multiple parts of a Waveform on a Podcast Voice Track.

There are lots of times when I and my guest will say "Um" or "Ah" and quickly say the word we were supposed to, so you can't just silence the Ums and Ahs on all occasions. I need to be able to fade these in.

What research have I done so far to fix the problem?

1) Video - This Fade In and Out Envelope only works at the beginning and end of a Waveform. You can't have multiple Fade Ins within the Waveform: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8c1cTF71vI

2) Audition Forum - This answer seems to be a written version of the YouTube video above. I can't figure out if this is the correct answer because there are no screenhots or videos: https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition/fade-in-fade-out-on-selection/m-p/10373323?page=1
