Please read this blog before reinstalling a previous version, otherwise, you might mistakenly uninstall the current version of Audition installed on your computer.
To reinstall the previous versions of Adobe Audition, follow these steps:
1. Open the Creative Cloud desktop application.
2. Click the Apps tab.
3. Under MY APPS & SERVICES, click INSTALLED APPS
4. Find Audition in the list of installed apps and click the drop-down arrow on the right side of Open.
5. Click Other Versions & choose the previous version of Audition that you want to install on your computer.
NOTE: Starting October 2017, Adobe Creative Cloud has moved to native OS support for Dolby Digital decoding (reading Dolby files) and no longer provides support for encoding (writing) Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus sound formats in the current and future releases of Creative Cloud. Due to a change in licensing agreement with one of our vendors, the following versions of Audition are not available for download:
- Audition CC 2015.2 (9.x.x)
- Audition CC 2015 (8.x.x)
- Audition CC 2014 (7.x.x)
