this seems like something that would logically be a part of audition alreadt but the track select forward tool from premiere would make editing and then adding sound effects or additional audio much easier.

In general, it's better to enquire as to whether a facility is already there, rather than just assuming that it isn't...

select clips to end of session again.JPG

There are flexible options for doing this already, and you can assign any available keystroke you like to them. The default key for Select Clips to End of Session doesn't exist on this laptop, so I've reset it to 8. I haven't checked specifically, but I suspect that the facility to do this in Audition has more options than Premiere's does!
