How are we supposed to be able to help? You haven't given us a single clue to go on. Even providing a bit of file with the 'glitches' on so we could listen to them would be something... Are these glitches always in the same place? When do you first notice them? Are you recording in Waveform view or Multitrack?

see the video for an example of the audio glitch. I get two of these in an hour while recording my podcast. I record in multitrack and it gets sent over to my audio engineer as a .wav file. The file gets mastered on Pro Tools. I can see that the audio levels drop off for a quick second or two before it resumes normal levels during the actual recording.

Still can't tell, but if it's a dropout rather than a glitch, it will almost certainly be caused by your audio driver, or something related to it. Audition records very faithfully everything that's sent to it so any failure like that is going to be in your computer or audio sound device (you haven't told us anything about that either), not Audition.
