Greyed out tools

Hello!!

I am using Audition 2023, and for some reason some of my tools are greyed out?? I need to use the lasso tool, however I cannot get it to work for whatever reason.

If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know!!

Easy. You are in spectral pitch mode, and the tools only work in spectral frequency mode. So you need to click on the left hand one of the two icons between Multitrack and the tool icons, to get them to work.
