Grouping files in Audition

Hello,

I use Audition for making podcast. Sometimes I mix more than 30 different files. Unlike After Effect, I was not able to find a way to have different bins for my files. I would like to have several bins, for interview files, music, effects and others. Do you know any way I can do that and have a cleaner workplace?

I contacted the Adobe help line and they didn't know a way to do that. I think that's a very useful option to have.

Thanks,

Loads of people have requested something along similar lines, and I was under the impression that it was being worked on. That said, nothing has been seen. There could be any number of reasons for this, but I know it's not going to be an easy task. Apart from anything else, there are no pictures, so an alternative display format is required. And also this has to be compatible with everything else in the CC suite - also not without issues.

And it is of course perfectly possible to organise files like this outside of Audition. It just requires a little forethought. No it's not ideal,  but people have been working this way relatively happily for decades.

So no, I'm afraid we don't have a fix for this either.
