Help: No Audio to apps

i have been trying to use a virtual audio cable and audition to do some real time voice EQ/compression/deesser and i can get the audio to work just fine in adobe and i can hear it in adobe, but when trying to use it as a real time editior and push said sound out to apps such as OBS and Discord i get 0 audio. My hardware settings are setup properly (as ive watched / read 5-10 different guides on this now) and still no audio is being pushed out of Audition.

To make sure you are working on the right problem try routing the output back to another input in Audition.
If Audition can record what is going and (and back in) then the problem is with the other apps
