Hello, I am starting out in Voice over and am using Audition for my DAW. I have a question I hope you can help me with. I suffer chronic rhinitis so am a heavy breather. I need to reduce the gain on my breaths. This is a time consuming problem. I use iZotope RX 9 and it catches most of my breaths, but to keep it from interfering with words that are breathy (like words ending with f or h) I need to keep the settings pretty light. That means while editing I have to manually process quite a few breaths still.
What would be helpful is if I could set up a hotkey that would allow me to select the breath, press the hotkey, and have it lower the gain by -15dB. I would also like to be able to set a hotkey to add .5, 1.0, and 1.5 seconds of silence.
Can anyone help me with this? Are either of these possible to do?
Thanks!
Rusty Jones
