Hello, I am working on a horror video project while I am confined at home and I wanted to recreate or at least get a similar voice sound effect like the one you can hear from the Alien talking to Dr. Abigail in the movie The Fourth Kind

(It's a youtube link and you can skip to seconds 0:44 to hear it) also (could be disturbing to some)

Anyway I never really worked on audio for my videos apart for manipulating pitch or adding reverb using Premier Pro,

I've searched online but so far I did not manage to find something specific, if some of you could give me some advices it will be really appreciated thanks.

It sounds like a ring-modulated voice that has been heavily distorted - but there may be more going on too, in terms of pitch changes. It's possible, for instance, that it's a pitch-shifted version of the original speech (about a major 5th) that's been fed to each side of the ring modulator. It's sort-of a modified version of how you produce Dalek voices. Audition doesn't have a ring modulator, so you'd have to find a vst plugin if you wanted to try experiments with one - there are several available, either free or at least very cheap.

Hi, thanks for the tip, I google Dalek voices and I found it to be a good start and there are some tutorials about it.

As I mentioned before I don't need it to be completely similar, also can you suggest any vst plugin for free?

I will search online and see what I can do.
