How do I open an actual support ticket? Pouring through the open user forums is not what I am looking for; those are fantastic for free apps! NOT FANTASTIC FOR PAID APPS. Thank you!

And anyway, if that's the case, why did you even bother posting here? As a matter of fact, we don't expect people to pour through loads of forum replies - we actually answer questions directly.

I apologize; the irony is not lost on me. To answer your question, once you move past activation or account related questions, searching the community forums for an answer and/or posting here are the only options for "troubleshooting support" unless (presumably) Enterprise. On rare occasion linked forums are perused by company employees so thought I'd give it a go. Please do have a wonderful weekend sir.

The way it tends to work here is that generally, we can deal with the queries that come along. If we can't, then we have, at least potentially, access to the developers, who will respond. This works pretty well; it means that they don't get disrupted from what they're supposed to be doing unless there's a good reason for it.
