How to batch process timeline clips from Premiere

Hi!

I'm new to Audition so am looking for help with what I assume is very basic.

I have a Premiere project that I exported to Audition as a sequence. I want to clean up loads of timeline clips with the noise reduction inside Audition (tried the one inside Premiere and that's just not very good quality). So here's my problems:

Problem 1:

After exporting the sequence from Premiere to Audition some tracks seem to be at least 6db louder then in Premiere.

Settings are:
"Selection: Entire Sequence"
"Render audio clips" is unchecked (does Audition maybe not open these effects? Could this be it? Should I render the effect?)
"Send clip volume keyframe Metadata" is checked.

Problem 2:
How do I select clips from the timeline and put the in the Batch Process panel so I can apply my favourite Noise Reduction settings to those clips?

Problem 1 is a known problem with imported files from Premiere. Don't know if there is an answer to that one yet.

Problem 2 Open the Batch Process pane and drag the files from the Files window which should show all your imported audio files.

Thank you ryclark! Not an answer I was hoping for but appreciated. I guess that makes this whole thing a no go if the volume changes that drastically for no obvious reason.

But still... how do I select the clips in the timeline though? There's hundreds of clips in the Files window. I need to apply a certain effect to a certain batch of clips and it will take forever to go though them one by one by name...

When I try to capture noise print the plug in crashes and says "A Severe error was encountered (Code 00000008)".

Did I just stumble on TWO different bugs on my first try of the program!

Can you tell us exactly which version of Audition this is on? This was a known problem a while ago but has been fixed in an upgrade, as far as I'm aware.

Well as far as selecting multiple files in the Files pane is concerned you can just use the usual Windows multi file selection by clicking on the first one and then shift clicking on the last to select a whole bunch of files.

However applying the same NR effect to all these files in a batch seems a bit odd since you normally need a different noise print for each file recorded in different places. If the files are actually clips edited out of one or two master files it would be better to apply the Noise Reduction to the complete original master files before splitting them up into separate clips.
