Hello guys,

I have recently moved from Mac to PC and use Adobe Audition.  When I import audio files into a session I want to make sure that they convert to the same proeprties (file type, bit and sample rate) as the multi track project.  On my Mac it used to do it automatically. On my PC it doesn't seem to be doing that so the audio in the session has all different properties.  Do you know how I can ensure that it is all homogenised when put into the session?

Any help massively appreciated!!

Zak

I think that if you look carefully, you'll find that all the audio that's actually in your session has the same characteristics. You can put any old files you like into the Files list, but the moment you actually insert them into the session itself, then any that aren't in the session format are automatically converted. It has to be like this, because all the files inserted into the session have to be in exactly the same format - there's no way around that!
