How to disable "copy unique clips"

I edit podcasts on audition. When I use a wired mouse at my office I have zero issues. Ocassionally I edit from my laptop at home. My setup at home has a wireless mouse. This causes a weird function I cannot seem to get rid of. I select a track in the multitrack editor, then if my mouse is over the track, it momentairly makes my mouse cursor look like a double select tool. The arrows are slightly overlapped; one is black and one is white. If I click when the mouse is in this function it duplicates the track under itself. The issue I am having is that I do a lot of selecting of everything to the right and moving it to the left. If I click too quickly, I end up making a copy of the track and have to ctl+z. For the life of me I cannot find this tool anywhere or how to disable it. Any help would be amazing.

The reason you can't get rid of it is because it isn't there as far as Audition is concerned... This is most likely to be a function of your mouse that's doing this - you need to look at the controls for it. It sounds like it's an automated double-click function.

Im sure it has SOMETHING to do with the wireless mouse. The thing that is bothering me is that I can't find the double mouse tool anywhere in the program.  If I can figure out what it is, I can figure out how to turn it off. 467483287_496049543499048_8182187428664582649_n.jpg

If you do a search for 'double-clicking wireless mouse' or a similar term, you'll find that you are not alone. Not sure how much I trust any of the 'remedies', but perhaps one of them will work...
