Hi, I have to edit a shot documentary made up of interviews. I already have synced the audio and edited the video, however now I need to edit the levels. Should I do this from the multitrack or from the waveform? Which one is recommended?
You can do it either way. But if you do it in Multitrack view you can import the video as well so that you be constantly checking that you haven't messed up the sync with your editing. No, not if it works for you in Waveform view then stick with it. There are often several ways of doing things in Audition so use the one that you find easiest to understand. Maybe in the future after more experience with Audition you could try the other way using Multitrack.
