Hi everyone! I want to record a podcast interview with someone in another location who does not have a studio. I've read some tutorials but don't think I'm getting the gyst of it. I already have 2 podcasts, but only recording my voice. Could someone provide some details on how to do it while achieving the best sound quality? Thanks!

The easiest way to do this is to set up a standard Zoom call. You also have your podcast mic set up at your end, and you can record this and keep the quality up. The sneaky bit is that you get the person at the other end to use a portable recorder to record their end of the conversation. And when you've finished the conversation, then they send you the file (which should sound way better than recording the Zoom audio). If you put this on a separate track, you should end up with a decent recording of both sides of the conversation. If you get it right, it sounds as though they are in the same room as you.
