How to Remove “Ummms“ and “Ahh“ Real Quick

Hello everyone! So, I am editing several podcasts. I have raw audio files and the guest has many “ahh´s" in the conversation. The length of the audio file is almost 30minutes and I have been doing it manually. Is there any way to save some time and just capture the “aaahh“ and automatically remove the same in the entire audio file?

Disclaimer: the background removal doesn´t work since it is taking the voice, the moment I apply it to the entire audio, it messes up their voice. Please help guys thank you so much!!!

As Steve says with a bit of practice it becomes very quick and easy to spot the aahs and ummhs visually in the Waveform (or the Spectral Frequency Display) thus making it very quick to go through removing them without necessarily having to play through every second of the recording.

Right, thank you so much Steve. I just thought that there might be a way for it, but your comment really makes sense. Thanks!
