Hi eveyone. I usa a MAc Book Pro running Catalina 10.15.6 using the latest version of AUDITION.
Where can I find my hard worked personal configuration "RACK EFFECTS PRESETS" ?
I would like to back up on my external hard drive -AND- install my custom presets into my other computer.
Any suggestions as to how to do this?
Thank you.
-Shawn

In Audition's Settings folder (hidden by default) there is a file called EffectPresets.xml and that's the file you need a copy of. You should be able to replace the default one in your 'other' computer with it, and upon restarting, they should all be there. You can find the folder by following the path /Users/{username}/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/{version no}/

I have followed this all and copied it over the previous one but everytime I restart Audition it replaces it again with the old one. I have even tried going into the code and finding the right words from ones I have made and they disappear after restarting it.

I was having trouble too - I made these two mistakes:
1) I was putting the xml file into the presets folder (it was empty), it goes into the main adobe audition folder
2) I did not restart my machine
once I had it in the right place and restarted they appeard and audition stopped replacing my file.
also the file location is different on my machine, it's in app data, roaming, adobe audition.
Hope that helps you.
