Hey there!
I've been using Adobe Audition for years and absolutely LOVE it for my voice over business! I do have an issue though.
I have a new computer, and I am attempting to download and install creative cloud and audition. Unfortunately I have found that the installation will get to a certain point and just freeze. Like the installer itself doesn't freeze, but it will sit for hours at 18.7% (for example) until I restart it all over again. I had problems also when trying to download it onto another computer for my assistant editor. So now I'm wondering how widespread these issues are, and if anyone has some quick tips to resolve it? It's not that I CAN'T spend 4 hours on my Sunday afternoon trying to simply download a problem, I just don't want to LOL!
Let me know what your thoughts or helpful tips are 🙂
Thanks in advance!
Megan 🙂

For a start, could you tell us whether this is on a Mac or a PC? At present, we haven't got a clue. We know that there are some issues surrounding Apple's so-called Catalina 'upgrade' which has altered security settings significantly. For instance, if you dismiss the 'allow access to your Documents folder' or anything similar, all bets are off as to whether anything will work properly anyway.
The other thing you should be aware of is that even if Audition doesn't complete an installation, it creates a log file every time it tries - and they generally give a large clue as to where the installation is hanging. To find these on an installation that won't start, you have to locate them manually - there is information on this thread: Audition crashed - now what? You can either post it here, or generally more usefully send it to audbugs@adobe.com, making sure you've included an email address.
