Hi all.
I'm trying to match EQ between two tracks. I have them in a multitrack session, panned left & right. Yes, I can get rid of the panning manually while doing this, but I often (usually, I think) want to hear soloed tracks from both channels.
Is there an option to do this that I'm missing? If not, I think this would be a useful feature.
Thanks.
A quick work around for monitoring without altering your panning is to click on the Mono icon (dot in brackets) on the Master track so that you listen to all output mono in the centre.

See your other post - this is addressed in it.

Thanks. That's good to know, but still means many extra drags and clicks to accomplish a centered solo.

Yes it would help if there was a keyboard shortcut for toggling Master track Mono on and off. In fact it would be useful if Audition had various Monitoring shortcuts for Dim, Mute as well as Mono/Stereo perhaps.

Agreed. This has been a selectable feature on 'real consoles' / 'big boards' since the mid 1980s (i.e. Sony/MCI JH series consoles and countless others) and it's a little surprising that it's not a feature switch in Audition. It is a big help to have both 'solo in place' and 'solo centered' options while constructing a mix, for sure.
