Reformatting my 6 year old PC soon - I still have a copy of Au all the way back from version 2017 until the most recent.
I would still like to have the 2019 version after the reformat. Adobe Support came back to me saying they only have access to version 2020 - which i can see via Creative Cloud - Other Versions.
Is there any other place I can get this? By any chance do any of you have a copy?
Thanks.
The problem with this is that even if somebody gave you all the run-time files (which are easy to find, but only if they exist), they couldn't give you the installer if they'd installed it via the CC app so you couldn't get it to run anyway. The reason that Adobe support has only got access to the current version and its -1 is that this is what they've been told to do by their legal department. I'm afraid that we are not allowed to discuss the reasons for this decision either, although a bit of

What this means is that if you have the installer for a previous version, and it's registered on your CC account, then you could reinstall it - but that's the only way. The installer generally takes the form of a single large setup file that unpacks itself when you run it, but the CC app hides all that away from you, and I suspect that it destroys it when it's finished with it. I can't find any on this machine that are post Audition 10.

As always, thank you Steve for the quick response. That is unfortunate.

@MonoxideWorks You could try installing Audition 2019 from the standalone installers offered at
https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2019-direct-download-links.html
The Adobe ACP who hosts that site has been doing so for many years and all downloads are safe.

@MonoxideWorks I know this is an old thread, but I'm in the same boat as you were back in 2021, looking to download and install the 2019 Audition version 12.1.5.3. I asked Adobe for help twice, and they both sent me to community.adobe.com, the second time specifically to this thread. I followed @John Waller's link to download this version from prodesigntools.com but I'm completely lost on that site. I can't find the actual link to download the installer. Can either of you guys help me?

@LaSalamander Unfortunately, the suggestions in this thread, including Prodesigntools, no longer apply.
Adobe removed all download links to older versions in the last 18 months or so. We all now only have access to the current version and the major version immediately prior to that one.
For many years, the old Prodesigntools site used to be a fabulous resource for downloading older versions but, sadly, no longer applies. The links now re-direct to the pages Adobe prefers us to see.
Why do you specifically need the 2019 version of Audition?

Help, I'm in the same boat!!!
I'm running Sonoma on a 2012 Macbook Pro and the processor can't tolerate any Adobe version newer than v23. Please, tell me there's a way to access this SOMEWHERE. We pay for Adobe Cloud and can't use the version that works on our machines, so how are we getting what we paid for? I shouldn't be forced to buy a new laptop just to satisfy the latest version of Adobe because they won't give me access to an older one.

I'm afraid it's no good moaning at us - we can sympathise, and empathise (it cost me a new DAW) - but we're a U2U group and don't have any influence at all with Adobe's lawyers, from whom this decision came. Heck, we're not even allowed to discuss the reasons for it.

It's just so odd, because now two different people from Adobe sent me here to ask for help getting the older version of the program.

I don't know why they are doing this - there are two possibilities I can think of, neither of which is particularly satisfactory. The first is that somehow, this 'go to the U2U' answer has got onto the crib sheets that they use (you have to bear in mind that the support staff don't actually use the software...) and the second is that it hasn't, and is just a stock answer that will get you off the line quickest.
But the advice we were given about this was pretty unequivocal - it is official Adobe policy that the only versions of almost all of their software that will be available is the current version and its -1. And we are officially not supposed to circumvent this, and this has been the case since wayback, if you get my drift...

...and nothing is what I got. My best guess is that this much older version of Audition is just not happy running on Windows 11. I will have learn to live with out it. But thanks for everone's help!
