Please help -- Audition just crashed on me and I appear to have just lost 6 hours of work on a project due today. After it reloaded it took me back to a part of the session. I'm afraid to close the program for fear of losing everything still retrievable. Can anyone offer pointers?

Where were the session files backed up? You can establish the location by looking in Preferences. If the backup was set to be fairly frequent (I don't recommend anything more than 10 minutes) then all you have to do is double-click on the latest one there (rather than the program attempting to open what happened immediately before the crash). If you did everything in Multitrack then you shouldn't have lost any audio.
