Hello
I've installed a few third-party plugins, and some of the presets are available and some aren't.
In particular, MCDSP installs fine, but no presets show up in the list, while Waves plugins presets do show up in the drop down list.
I've worked out that all presets are logged in the EffectPresets.xml file (located in preferences), and even tho I can see the individual McDSP presets.xml files, but they're not saved in the 'EffectPreset.xml' file and therefore do not show up.
This is very frustrating, and have been trying different things for 2 days. Is there anything I can do, or is this just a manufacture issue?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Audition only works natively with 64-bit plugins. If you try to install 32-bit ones, they won't load and run unless you access them via bridge software.

Hi Steve
The plugins work fine, it's just that the presets don't appear. I emailed MCDSP and they said the plugins are not optimized for Adobe, hence why the presets don't work. Essentially all that needs to happen is the preset xml code needs to be written into the effectpresets.xml file. Either MCDSp can update their plugins, or even Adobe could have an option to load a preset. We can certainly save a custom preset, so why not load one.
I have even tried coping the xml data myself, but that doesn't work. Well it might if I had the correct XML software, but I'm not familiar with this.
It just seams really odd that Adobe doesn't this an option. We load custom MOGRT file in Premier Pro, why not audio presets.
Cheers
Jamie

We do know that there are issues surrounding preset importing - I believe that Adobe may be working on this.

Hey Jamie & Steve,
I'm having the same issues mentioned above - did you happen to find a workaround / get this working?
