Hi everyone!
I have a question about "search for a clip in timeline" by clip name. I need to relink the clip, but I renamed some files. Now the app asks me to link, but the timeline is huge, with many tracks. There's no ctrl+F function?? Not a simple "Find.."? What about click the name at Files panel and go to the timeline's location?
A panel to a search for a clip's all inserts by name? Nothing? Really?
And what about relink more than 1 clip to the same file? Not possible too?
Usually when Re-linking clips in Audition many of them will be in the same location (if you are well organised). In that case Audition should find and re-link all missing clips from that same location.
if you are really lost and don't know where to look you could open your .sesx file in a .xml reading app like a web browser and see where Audition thinks the files ought to be. All Absolute and Relative path names for files used in a session are listed towards the end of the .sesx file.

So basically you've created a session, and then deliberately renamed files referenced in it? Caveat Emptor...
If you use File>Reveal in explorer, then the Ctrl+F function is available.

Well, saying like this seems stupid, but wasn't exactly easy this..
First my audition created 44100hz files from lower level files. Than I renamed the originals for organize, I have gigas of sfx and nedded a cleaned view. Than I had a saddly situation, got a virus in my computer and needed a reinstallation of system. In this process I lost the folder of 44100 files. So.. now I still had the sesx file, but not some linked ones inside. See? It happens... kkk

Well that's a way, that's more than nothing! Thanks man! It's not easy though, but it helps!
I'm new user of Audition, I assumed the app would recognize the files, but I dragged each one from the folder, not from the panel. So he asked each one's location (a little stupid I guess). Now I know I have to copy clips or maybe, drag from the files panel. And the files are organized in categories folders, so they're not all from the same local. In my question, I'd like to select like two or more clips n timeline and relink all together, but the app doesn't support it.
I don't know why it couldn't have this "find" option that every dam software has. So here stays my suggestion for the developers.
