I'm using Audition to record dialogue. Recording individual lines as small clips. Each track housing up to 30 minutes of clips per character.
Since the last few updates, the playhead is not behaving as expected. Roughly after the three minute mark, if I record a new clip and stop, the playhead jumps back to the start of the sequence instead of sticking to the end of the clip.
I can open a new track and the behaviour returns to normal, until I hit the 3 minute mark where it starts to jump to the beginning.
It seems to be a bug, since this wasn't happening a few updates ago. Wondering if anyone's run into the issue and has a potential fix.
Cheers!

Uncheck the option in the Playback preferences for Return Playhead to Start Position on Stop or by turning it off in the Play button right click menu.

Also, you will also find that if you go to Edit>Preferences>Playback that there are several other options you can control, as well as the ones ryclark mentions.

The Return Playback to Start Position on Stop option is unchecked.
The behaviour doesn't occur on a fresh track, only once a certain amount of clips are recorded in it.
I've tried all the various options in the Preference>Playback menu to no avail.

Here's a screen recording of the behaviour.
