Hello,
The Adobe Help line hadn't came across this issue before so I was hoping someone on here could help.
I am running Adobe Audition 6.0 on windows.
I am in a multi-track session
I recorded the interview on Google Voice and they are mp3s
The quality wasn't great so when I dropped it into the timeline, it created a 44100 version.
I have two mono tracks panned to L and R to create a stereo effect in the timeline on separate tracks.
The issue is this:
Lets say the first 10 seconds contains the following audio:
"It is a beautiful day at Camp Lejeune, home of the Kings of Battle, 3rd Battalion, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division."
so if you start the playhead by pressing the spacebar at "Camp" it creates a dotted line playhead
the solid line playhead continues with the audio
I stop after Kings by pressing the spacebar again
If I push the spacebar again, the solid line playhead will be in the same position where I stopped it but it will play starting from "Camp" once again. If I start it at a later point, it will perhaps start at Lejeune or another place.
The loop is not on, I cleared the cache's yesterday with the Adobe people but still no luck?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

There are two options for Playback playhead positioning. If you right click on the Play button on the Transport panel you will see the option to Return Playhead to Start Position on Stop. So you need to make sure that this option is unticked for it to be off so that Playback continues from where you stopped.

Yes, I checked that but that is not what is wrong.
Thanks!
