Problem connection DLZ sound board and recording blog in audition

i have set up everyting and i still can't get audition to recongize my microphone.  Is there a trick to this?

Can you tell us your operating system, and show us a screen shot of Audition's audio hardware settings?

 

If on Windows, have you installed Mackie's DLZ drivers?

Another thing to note (that isn't mentioned on the Adobe hardware connection page link) is that if you are using a Mac, you will almost certgainly have to give your DLZ permission to access it, in the security settings. This has caught a few people out...

If you use Google's AI search tool and type 'Mac permission settings' it will give you a rundown of all of them - there are quite a few options, and it may well be that one of them is tripping you up. I can't tell you specifically because I don't have a Mac, but the rundown seems to be quite comprehensive.
