Good day!
I've been working a couple months in a song and today after I saved a session and restarted the computer i found it impossible to open again.I still have all the voices and the beat in the folders but Audition says "file Error: The file is either corrupt or using an unsupported format" ... This is something i haven't seen before. I dont know what happened but i hope there's a way to fix it. This is the file in question, in case someone can take a look http://www.mediafire.com/file/o54bbww984b6wht/lies_demo.sesx
Whats strange is that i didnt do anything out of the ordinary but when i opened audition all of the quick "open recent" sessions where gone, i had to pick it up from the explorer....
Thanks for your time and help.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that sesx file is just 700kb of NULLs
Please don't tell me that you worked on a song for a couple of months without making regular backups.
What version of Audition are you running?
Did you check for the automatic backups that later versions of Audition make in the "Backup" sub-folder?

damn, that sucks 😕 ..you got any idea why this kind of thing happens? I'm using CS6 32 bits in Windows 7.
I do have back-ups but unfortunately i made some major moves in the mix this last days and forgot to make back up of that .
All the files for this project are located in another folder outside the one by default, i dont know if that changes something. Where can i find the automatic backups?
Thanks for your answer.

I forget when auto backups came in (probably CC) but they should be in a subfolder of the session called 'Backup'

Alas, I'm pretty sure that the backup facility came with one of the earlier versions of CC and wasn't there in CS6.
