Problems with "insert silences"

Anybody suddenly have the ability to "insert silence" go away?  I'm clicking on it and not getting the box to get the amount of silence I want to insert.

Yes I have this same issue all of a sudden. Mac OS X Catalina.

Yes, same symptom as you on my new iMac running Catalina: I reach for "Insert Silence..." but the usual dialog box fails to appear. Nothing happens, and no error is reported onscreen. It worked fine within the last couple of weeks, but not today. Restart didn't help.

Having the same issue on a PC running Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Nothing helped.

I'm just wondering if the dialog box has a problem - the one I'm thinking of is that it isn't being forcing its way to the front of the screen, and is sitting behind the rest of your Audition windows. You should check that first...
