Rack Mix Problems

I've just switched from CC6 to CC. The first problem I'm noticing is that Rack Mix is not working right. I have a track with a reverb in effect. And even when I turn the Rack Mix down to 0%, the effect is still going strong.

In other cases, when I manage to get it to obey the Rack Mix values through automation, it's way off. Like, I have to move the keyframes a good 30 seconds later than when I want them to take effect. It's just crazy, and really seems to be not working right.

Am I alone? Am I just not doing something right?

Is this with the latest version CC2018 of Audition? There are some known bugs with it at the moment being worked on by Adobe.

As far as I can tell, it is the very latest version. It doesn't seem think there's an update available:

But look at this:

There's live reverb on the track, and the green line is the Rack Mix. That's where I have to put the envelope if I want to to go from dry to wet at the tail end of the song. That is, when it works at all. Sometimes it just says on at 100% the whole time, as if there's no envelope at all. And even if the numbers in the Effects Rack change from 0% to 100%, it's all lies: the reverb mix stays on 100% no matter what. It's inconsistent. And it's driving me batty, as I'm under a deadline!

Yes looking at the version number that is the latest. There hasn't been an update yet to fix any of the bugs that have been discovered in CC2018. Posting this as a bug may help Adobe to find fixes quicker.

The advice is to revert back to CC2017 if you urgently need to work on audio projects. You can re-install CC2017 from the desktop Creative Cloud app.

I'm actually in the middle of reverting back to old CS6, since that's were this particular session was started. Man, what a bummer of an upgrade this has been!

I'm seeing this same issue, also with a project that was started on CS6.  Don't have time to try to reproduce on a fresh project right now.

Just checking to make sure you have Track Effects selected in the rack and not Clip Effects?

Oh, yes. This is definitely a Track Effect, not a Clip effect.

Has this never been fixed? I'm stuck on CS6 forever until live effects work properly in the latest version of Audition.

LATEST

I'm currently using the latest version of Audition, and yes, it still has this exact problem almost 6 years later. If you use a Reverb effect or any other CPU intensive effects, then the keyframes in your track envelope will be off by about 8-10 seconds, even after your project renders.
