Relinking multitrack audio clips from files panel not working anymore?

Hello,

So I used to be able to replace / relink clips from the files panel, into multitrack, by dragging from the files panel then holding down Alt over the clip I want to replace. But that's not working for me anymore. Is there a setting that needs changed? It was an essential part of my workflow, and I can't find any documentation about it anywhere.

Thanks!

Which version are you using? To the best of my knowledge presently the only Alt key action involving file dragging is the one available in Edit>Preferences>Multitrack Clips relating to multiple audio channels.

I'm on 13.0.8. I also wonder if I'm thinking of Premiere, because I know Premiere has the alt drag function to replace clips. Could've sworn it was in Audition too, but maybe I'm smoking something.
