Hi,

I have registred a podcast with multiple voices and started the edition. It's a multitrack session, i have six audio tracks, all based on the same .wav file. It was almost done, but at this moment i found a way to have better sound (thanks Adobe Podcast, if only i discovered you before). So now, i have a new .wav file and i really don't want to restart all over. Is it possible to replace the audio file source in Adobe Audition, and keep the edition table like before ?

In PremierePro you have this option, you import a new file in the app, and select anything you want in your editing table, and click on Replace the source file.

Can i do somethinng like that on Audition ?

For information, i have the latest version of Adobe Audtion, 25.0.0.47.

Hope it's clear 😉

Thanks you

You could just rename the replacement file the same as the original and replace it

Audition will just open the file that has been renamed
