Saving a file always creates a new one

Hello!

Im new with Audition and this is my problem: Im creating a multitrack and therefore I have several Waveforms that my multitrack consists of. The problem is that everytime I save something in Audition, it creates a totally new file, so I end up with multiple files all the time, and have to look for the latest one which consists of the latest work I did. This goes for both the waveforms and the multitrack im working on. All I want is just one simple file that I can save in my onedrive and come back to every day and continue my work on it. Why does it have to become a new file just because I save it? Is there a way to make it save everything in the current "project" together?

Thank you 🙂

My suggestion is to save the session locally and you won't have that issue and it will be much safer.

If you need to back it up then send it to one drive or elsewhere so you have a copy somewhere else
