I found a question from 2012, but I can't believe this has still not been addressed 6 years later, so I'm asking again. How is it not possible to save a project in Audition? I was working on a project and had to go to bed, and my computer decided to upgrade and reset. Well, when I opened Audition, it erased all of the work I had done on the multitrack. So now I get to do the whole thing over again. How can I prevent this in the future?
Autosave has been a feature for quite a few versions now.
As to "how is it not possible to save a project in Audition?" - my guess is that prior to the autosave implementation the only way to not save a project would be to actually not press the save option and if a project was important I would certainly press the save option prior to going to bed in case there was a power failure or a system reboot but that's just me.

I understand that there is a save button. My question is how do I actually get it to save? I saved all the files and the multitrack file quite a few times, and yet when I opened the program back up, all my work was lost as if I hadn't done anything. Do you think that was just a glitch, or did I save it incorrectly?

What version of Audition was this?
If it was Audition 3 it used a binary ses file and this was susceptible to corruption should there have been a computer 'glitch' or reboot or similar.
This is why backup apps like SESBackup - Adobe Audition® Session File Backup Utility are handy
If it was post Audition 3 then this sort of thing was far less likely for a whole heap of reasons

It's version 11. I just closed it and reopened it, and everything was saved. I'm guessing it just got lost in the electrons last time when my computer decided to restart overnight. Hopefully that doesn't happen again, though I guess I can just make sure I save and close Audition when I'm done for the day.
Thanks for the help.
