I've tried more than a few times and a few different ways to save a .sesx to a new file and change the sample rate, and whenever I do, the multi-track clips don't adjust properly, leaving (non-destructive) edits to clips completely wrong and sounding bad.
The first method was something posted in 2017 here. It worked for the OP, but either he had a simple session, or the process no longer works.
Then I discovered File > Export > Session... which also allows you to adjust the sample rates of the files in the session, but the resulting session also has issues with the conversion.
In Audition 3, you could Just do a Save As, and the program took care of the rest (converting all files to .wav and the right sample rate for the session) when you checked the "Save All Files..." checkbox.
Just wondering if there is a way to get this to work?
Have something to add?
