Selected audio device has no input channels available

Hi there

I've started using Audition with my Blue Snowball Mic. I've used this set up before but for some reason, today I cannot start recording. My microphone is working and I checked in settings. Audition is offering it as an option but has (not working) listed. I've adjusted t make sure the input and output sample rates match as I remembered that stopped my last time but now I get the error "selected audio device has no input channels available". It asks me if I want to open the hardware settings. I do and I've checked the microphone is enabled, it is. I cannot do anything about the channel mapping and again, I see (not working) after the snowball mic.

Can anyone help? I'm stumped.

Presumably it is the USB version of the Snowball? Have you tried it in a different USB socket? Can you post a screen grab of Audition's Preferences/Audio Hardware page so that we can see what the settings are? What is selected under Device Class? Which version of Audition and what operating system?

Hi Ry. I'm having a similar issue. I start recording, then I it stops in the middle of recording and I get this message: Selected audio device has no input channels available.

I'd appreciate your help. Audition CS6. Windows 7. Thanks!
